Human-Robot Collaboration: Dream or Reality?
Robotics is on the verge of major transformation. While robots have already taken over a significant amount of human labour in factories over the past more than 60 years, contributing to increased productivity, the new challenge is whether they can also find their place among մարդկանց outside industrial environments. Although a true breakthrough is still some way off, the rapid development of technology is creating a wide range of new opportunities.
Humanoid and quadruped robots will be presented by staff members of the ELTE Department of Ethology and Infuze Technologies Kft. The official English name ELTE Department of Ethology is used by the department itself. I could not confidently verify a separate official English company name for Infuze Technologies Kft., so I have left that name in its original form.
Date: 18 May 2026, 14:30–16:00
19 May 2026, 11:00–12:30
Venue: Hall A, Stage
Organizer: ELTE Department of Ethology, Infuze Technologies Kft.

VÉDŐHÁLÓ BUDAPEST CONFERENCE 2026
Digital exposure and generational differences: New challenges in occupational safety
Organized by the Hungarian Occupational Safety Academy and U4 Reklámiroda
Occupational safety is never solely about physical hazards. Smart devices and the continuous consumption of media content create mental health risks that affect different generations in different ways. Younger employees are particularly exposed to digital stress, while older generations face other types of challenges.
Occupational safety and EHS professionals play a key role in recognizing these effects and extending safety programs to include mental well-being. The conference will demonstrate how different experts can be involved in preserving mental health, and what practical steps can be taken to design and operate preventive workplace programs in order to reduce the risks arising from digital exposure and support a safety culture across generations.
Main sponsor: Hungarian Occupational Safety Academy
Organizer: U4 Reklámiroda
Date: 19 May 2026 – from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Venue: 1101 Budapest, Albertirsai út 10. – Hungexpo Main Building, Conference Room
Conference moderator: Rudolf Géczi, President of the Hungarian Occupational Safety Academy
Presentations on industrial digitalization and lean management (Hungarian DigiLean Association)
The DigiLean workshop conference: A guide to the industry of the future
The workshop conference series of the Hungarian DigiLean Association provides a comprehensive overview of the key areas of modern industrial operations, from outsourcing and the lean approach to the practical application of AI and digitalization. The individual presentations demonstrate how rapid cost reduction and improved efficiency can be achieved through data-driven decision-making and operational excellence methods. Special emphasis is placed on energy efficiency and the optimization of energy costs, based on concrete measurement data and case studies. Participants can gain insight into the design of machine vision systems, as well as current trends in digital factories and test systems. The roundtable discussion on the industrial role of AI helps dispel misconceptions through real-life examples and provides a realistic picture of the opportunities offered by the technology.
Don’t just follow change – shape it! Join us and draw inspiration from our experts so you can transform your theoretical knowledge into immediately applicable practical solutions that can provide a competitive advantage on the production line.

Safety of Manufacturing Equipment and What Lies Behind It
The presentation explores the key aspects that companies need to consider when planning an investment in manufacturing equipment containing a laser source. The following experts contributed to the development of the topic:
Dr. László Földi – Head of Department, Department of Mechatronics, Institute of Technology, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE)
Gábor Vavra – Master Instructor, Engineering Institute, Edutus University (laser safety)
Bence Berencsi – Managing Director, Saasco Kft.
Machine safety is an issue at the level of the European Union, and at TRUMPF it is considered particularly important to represent the importance of manufacturer-side operation in compliance with standards. It is also an important mission to present the topic in every possible forum, while signalling the risks and the current market situation to the side of public regulation.
It is of key importance to raise awareness of the dangers posed by machines equipped with lasers that are currently on the market with safety criteria differing from European standards, and which therefore represent serious health risks for users.
The aim is to ensure that, before purchasing, companies are properly informed about the benefits of compliance with standards, adherence to the appropriate technical requirements, and carrying out a real risk assessment.

Introducing X-GAIN
Kőbánya, where tradition becomes innovation – a connection across industries.
Kőbánya has always been a defining centre of Hungarian industry – a place where tradition and innovation shape the future by reinforcing one another. The companies of the X-GAIN cluster are living examples of this heritage and of continuous development. Industrial players with a history of more than a century, as well as representatives of global technological innovation, all contribute to this unbroken story of development. At the INDUSTRY DAYS exhibition, these companies, together with the Municipality of Kőbánya, recognising and fulfilling the indispensable catalyst role in the interweaving of community and technological innovation, show how experience and openness become a competitive advantage in the world of the most modern technologies. (Hall A, Stand number: 305D)
In Kőbánya, modern industrial development is organised even beyond the factory gates: the settlement itself becomes an active engine of the operating conditions of innovation; through community urban development and its organisational capacities, which cooperation takes shape in the X-GAIN community platform. Here, manufacturing culture carries the knowledge of generations, while digital solutions, automation and high-tech developments open a new era in industry, while institutional cooperation in local public management.

In Kőbánya, the past is not a memory, but a resource: an inspiration for innovation to be born from tradition, and for the future of Hungarian industry to continue to gain momentum from here.
